Harrison Ford is directing a film in Macon Georgia

My friend mentioned Friday that Harrison Ford is filming a movie here in Macon Georgia. She was telling me how they have transformed parts of downtown as a set for the film. So I wanted to check it out. We just happened to arrived at the same time that they were filming. Sadly, I didn't have my digital camera with me, so I really couldn't take the kind of shots that I watned. I had to use my HTC smart phone to snap a few frames.

it may not be much to see other than a bunch of old cars.  Thats because the movie, "42" is based on Jackie Robinson back in 1947.

Question:  What is the movie about?
“42”, the movie,  refers to Jackie Robinson’s uniform number, which was retired by Major League Baseball in 1997. Robinson, who was born in Cairo, Ga., broke baseball’s color barrier in 1947 when he played first base for the Brooklyn Dodgers. He was named baseball’s first Rookie of the Year that season, and later, the award was renamed in his honor.

Check out the video I shot using my HTC Virgin mobile phone

Where to get free Wi-Fi in Macon?

1. Joshua Cup Coffee House 2.Panera Bread 3. Most of McDonald's Restaurants 4.Krystal Fast Food Restaurants 5.Starbucks - My favorite is probably Starbucks and McDonalds because they allow you to stay as long as you want without them giving you any hassle. Plus All the listing here except for Krystals have places for you to plug in your laptop for extra needed power.
