Brownie at Panera Bread

Rah, this is what I was talking about. The brownie at Panera Bread. Not only do I love their brownie, the way its baked perfectly and taste heavenly, their packing add a simple delight. It's probably the size of your Banana Nut Bread you baked today.

But I am so inlove with the simplity of their packaging and yet its still sophisticated. I think you should pack your bread this way.

Walking to Downtown Macon

Forsyt Street, Downtown Macon

Had to take a break on the bench.

That's why I don't mind walking around Macon sometimes, its so scenic.

Southern Style Chicken Sandwich at McDonald

It took me about 45 minutes walk to downtown Macon from my apartment off Vineville. I figure, I needed the exercise anyway. I've already decided to head for McDonald for a sandwich. So I'm sweaty, hot, thirsty, and hungry. I get to the Medical Center where the McDonald is located and ordered my sandwich. I ordered the Southern Style chicken Sandwich. and inside the sandwich box it states that "You're about to enjoy a juicy flavorful chicken eating experience.

The sandwich is soooooo dryyyyyy!!!!. OMG It's just the buns, a boneless fried piece of chicken and two mini sliced of pickles. There NOTHING SOUTHERN ABOUT THAT. I've been in Macon Georgia, in the Middle of Georgia, you can't get any southern than this location. I've tasted every southern chicken there is. THERE IS NOTHING SOUTHERN ABOUT MCDONALD SOUTHERN STYLE CHICKEN SANDWICH.

Ques: Did I eat the sandwich?

Ans: Unfortunately I did, 'cause I was hungry. But never again!

Joshua Cup Coffee House

If there's a place that I've visited the most is "JOSHUA CUP COFFEE HOUSE" located in downtown Macon Georgia. I love that place. They started as a cafe and now they serve delicious sandwiches, hot or cold. I consider Joshua Cup my office. Because I spend sooo much time there, its crazy. I meet a lot of my clients there. I often spend an entire day there working. They were the first facility to offer FREE Wi-fi. and what I love the most about it is they really accomodates their facility for wi-fi users. They have plugs everywhere. So if your laptop is running out of juice, just plug right on in.

I must say, that my first Rueben Sandwich I taste was at Joshua's cup. I love it so much I order it often. But me being a Virgo and we are so much of a conservative people, I tend to stick to my regular sandwich. But yesterday I had to try their Philly Cheese Steak. It was soo good along with a cup of their vegetable soup.

The Best Mexican Restaurant in Macon

I've eaten atleast once in all of Macon Georgia's Mexicans' Restaurant. The one and only we often return to is the El Sombrero located on Mercer University Blvd, across the street from Macon Mall. We always order our favorite which is "Chicken & Shrimp Fajitas' for two. It comes with loaded of food. We can never eat everything. By the time you eat your first fajitas, you'll be way too full. What we always notice is the Fresh Tortilla and Tortilla Sauce, nothing like it anywhere else in Macon. FRESH FRESH FRESH and just seasoned perfectly.

Where to get a bowl of something good in Macon

Pineapple Upsidedown Cake from Panera Bread

Vegetable Soup & Turkey Sandwich with apple. Lunch at Panera Bread

Because I'm an advent blogger. or whatever that means. I like to go to places where I can get a free wi-fi and something good to eat. I'm at Panera Bread, located on Tom Hill Sr. Blvd in Macon Georgia. They offer everything I want here. FREE Wi-fi, sandwiches, soup, desserts, and coffee. What else can a blogger ask for.

What I'm having today is "PICK 2 SPECIAL". You can pick any sandwiches, a bowl of soup, and your choice of chips or a fruit. and in mycase an apple. Not including the drink is about $6 something.

The sandwich is good and fresh. Maybe because of the fresh baked bread they use. I'm so impressed with their sandwich that I had to buy a loaf of bread. The desserts are omg!!! a must to try. I think I've tried just about all of their desserts.

It's been a long time

I know it's been a long time since I last posted a blog on here. I really haven't had a chance to take additional photos of Macon. But I'm on a new mission. and I will be posting more often here. Especially the annual Indian Festival is coming next month. I'm going to take shots of that event.

Where to get free Wi-Fi in Macon?

1. Joshua Cup Coffee House 2.Panera Bread 3. Most of McDonald's Restaurants 4.Krystal Fast Food Restaurants 5.Starbucks - My favorite is probably Starbucks and McDonalds because they allow you to stay as long as you want without them giving you any hassle. Plus All the listing here except for Krystals have places for you to plug in your laptop for extra needed power.
