Allman Brothers Band Museum
After two and a half years of renovation and restoration, the house is finished, the exhibits are up, the property has been landscaped, the staff is ready and the Allman Brothers Band Museum at the Big House at 2321 Vineville Avenue, Macon, Georgia opened the doors to fans and friends for the first time recently in December of 2009.
The Big House Foundation has raised $2.5 million over the past 5 years from fans around the globe who are dedicated to the Allman Brothers Band and their music. The Allman Brothers Band Museum at the Big House is a fitting a tribute and gift from the fans to the band who is celebrating their 40th anniversary in music this year of 2009.
