It is good to see Maconites catching up with the rest of the world and figuring out that cars are not the only means of transportation but scooter are perfect for a small town such as Macon.  On a 49cc to 150cc scooter, you can get about 70-100 miles per gallon and usually drives up to 45 miles per hour.  So why not drive a scooter.

 

and speaking of drivers... well this Budget Truck, license plate 2FI-223, just kept driving through a stop sign and to ongoing traffic.

Peyton Avenue Housing complex.  As you can see they are still under construction.  I love to see Macon's neigborhood get an major uplift as this one.

This is Macon Housing Authority at work.  They are trully renovating this area.  These houses once occupied public housing and now they look like your typical suburb area.  That's an A+ for Macon. 

Furniture Liquidation Warehouse in Forsyth Georgia

A friend told me about a place he visited the other in Forsyth Georgia.  Its a used furniture warehouse located in Forsyth Georgia.  He said the furniture seems to be in good and great conditions and the price is very reasonable for used furniture.  So I decided to check them yesterday.  I really needed a dresser and couple of lamps. 

My first impressions is, the place is huge and have tons of furniture.  It looks like furniture thats been liquidated from Hotels.  and I immediately walked towards dressers because thats what I wanted and have a budget for.  We did purchased few items, I got 2 one drawer desks for $19 each and a huge dresser with a TV console for $49 and a couple of lamps for $19.00.  I am having the furniture I purchased picked up tomorrow and delivered to my house and I'll take photos of what I purchased.  

But I did manged to take photos with my Boost Sanyo phones, so you can kinda have an idea of what you might find in their warehouse.

 

Forsyth Georgia is located about 20 minutes North of Macon. 

Tastefull Treat from Starbucks

Another weekend at Starbucks.  And I decided to taste a treat... something sweet. 

 

I was soo surprised that they put my little cup cake in a little cute green box.  Wow a personal box for my sweet treat.  Love the presentation and ofcourse a frapuccino Mocha. from Starbucks.  I'm a Starbucker

A Construction Company You Can Rely On

Yeah... so I needed my bathroom ripped and revamp.  and I called Kreative Workers and they did an awesome job.  Check out my new bathroom.

Starbucks vs Dunkin Donuts

I didn't know what the big fuss is about.  I mean seriously coffee store.  I actually like Dunkin Donut coffee, but Starbucks offer free wifi.  So I found myself hanging out on the weekends at Starbucks.  At first I would just order green tea, trying to stay on healthy drinks.  But it was sooo hot today.  So I tried a Mocha Frapuchino.  OMG... I'm hooked.  Its soooo good.  and now I'm a Starbucker.  Is there something wrong with me? LOL!

My Pitbull Puppy Has Mange

I suspected my daughter's Pitbull puppy had mange.  But I didn't know to the severity of her condition.  I couldn't stand to see her condition any more and it seems to be getting worst.  So last Wednesday, I took her to Vet, Hudspeth Animal Hospital on Pio Nono Avenue here in Macon.  Since we didn't have an appointment we were told that the Doctor was too busy and to return the next day.  And So we did.  They immediately said that my Pitbull puppy have mange, just be looking at her.  and a Bad case of Mange.  But to be sure, they were going to conduct a test.  and giver her some treatments.  The treatment cost $25.00 but to check her out is $35.00 and every week it will cost $25.00 per week for the mange treatment.  

It took a few hours so we decided to get something to eat and return later.  I expected my puppy to get better atleast for her hair to start growing back after the first treatment.  But she looks like shes getting worst.  and she has lost more hair.  The photos above were take today.  Hopefully another treatment will work.  and if it doesn't, I'm going to get some apple cider vinegar and try soaking her in it for 10-15 minutes.  I did a little research for home remedies for dog mange and most everyone online recommended apple cider vinegar.  

I just hope with the 2nd treatment from Hudspeth Animal Hospital, she'll get better. 

PetSmart gave my puppy Mange?

 

This is my puppy Toot.  As you can see, she looks very health.  She's about 10 weeks old pitbull.  And she just came from Petsmart in Macon Georgia.  We don't have another dog.  But just days later, she started scratching and bitting her self like crazy.  Then few more days later started to notice that she's loosing her hair on her face.  A Week has gone and she looks like an old dog.  Wouldn't eat her food and became very picky with her food.  We don't bring her around with other dogs.  So there's no way she could have caught mange from another dog.  But then I remembered that we took her to Petsmart and ever since then we started having this problem.  

DON'T BRING YOUR DOG TO PETSMART FOR GROOMING!!!  I don't think they sanitize their facility after each dog.  Its the only place I know she could have contact with another dog who have mange. 

El Bronco Mexican Restaurant in Warner Robins, GA

Had business to do in Warner Robins a few days ago.  So while in town, we decided to stop by El Bronco Mexican Restaurant for some Mexican cuisine.

As typical of any Mexican Restaurant, they serve you some Tortilla Chips and Salsa.   The chips were serve warm and crispy.

 

The Salsa sauce was ok,  I preferred the other Restaurant's Salsa because of their chunkyness.  Their Salsa is more like a puree which might be better to some.  

 

My friend as for the Caliente Salsa, I guessed that meant Hot salsa.

 

We ordered the "Chicken & Shrimp Fajitas for Two".  The meat is sauteed in onions, green and red peppers.  Served sizzling hot on a cast iron dish.  

 

the meal comes with Spanish rice, and beans topped with cheese, Lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole and 3 soft tortillas.  And it was delicious.  Well done.  

the interior of the restaurant has an old rich Spanish theme. Not that bright yellow, red and green you usually see in Mexican restaurants in Macon.  the Host and wait staff seems to be friendly and made sure our drinks were filled constantly and often check on us without seemingly annoying.

Overall experienced is awesome.  Ya'll should definitely check them out.  and the prices are reasonable.
